Why Membership Matters
Your membership helps to fund programs for individuals with developmental disabilities, their families and organizations that serve them in Whatcom County as well as research into the causes of developmental disabilities.
As a member, you will receive regular newsletters from The Arc’s Parent Coalition, The Arc of Washington State and The Arc of the US. You will get more news about what activities are available for people with developmental disabilities and about the legislation that affects them. You will get information in the mail about special events and opportunities sponsored by The Arc of Whatcom County and the agencies we sponsor.
Your Membership Makes A Difference!
Your yearly membership helps us to continue to advocate in our community, state, and nation. It also helps us spread awareness and provide trainings and education to everyone interested.
The Arc Advocates on the local, state and national levels.
We are available here in Whatcom County to help Self-Advocates, Parents, Guardians, Families, Educators, Administrators, Business Owners, Local Representatives, Friends, and Interested Citizens learn about and advocate for people with disabilities.
We are part of The Arc of Washington State which organizes state-wide advocacy and information to help support individuals and families in their quest to grow inclusivity, accessibility, and make sure basic human rights are met.
We are part of The Arc of the United States, advocating for the rights of citizens even at the highest level.

Self-Advocate
$10.00Do you have a disability? We want your voice in our advocacy! You are the reason we are here and your voice is so important. Please take part and please let us know about any support you need to advocate for yourself and others!
Scholarship Request
FreeIf you have a disability, and membership cost is a barrier for any reason, we want you to still be a part of The Arc of Whatcom County and a voice that speaks up for our community. Please join. Once we receive your request, a staff member will reach out by phone or email to process your scholarship request!
Individual Member
$20.00An individual membership for one awesome supporter of The Arc of Whatcom County and our community!
Family Membership
$30.00One Membership for an entire family of awesome supporters of The Arc of Whatcom County and our community!
